St Cuthbert's Way

This is 62.5 miles (100Km) in length starting in Melrose and concluding at Lindisfarne. The route follows the journey of St Cuthbert as he went from being Prior of Melrose Abbey to become Prior then Bishop of Lindisfarne Priory.


Rob Roy Way

This is 79 or 92 miles (127 or 148Km) in length starting in Drymen and travelling NE across the southern Scottish Highlands to Pitlochry. This area was the home and active working area of one of Scotland's best known characters, Rob Roy MacGregor.


The Sir Walter Scott Way

This is a 92 miles (148Km) way starting in Moffat and heading NE across the southern region of Scotland to the North Sea Coast at Cockburnspath. This area was the home of Sir Walter Scott the great Scottish novelist. Many of his greatest works are based on this part of Scotland and the Way passes by his home at Abbotsford.


The Roman Heritage Way

This is a 100 - 102 miles (160 - 165Km) way starting at either Segedunum Fort on the River Tyne or Maia Fort on the Solway Firth and finishing at Trimontium Fort on the River Tweed. These two walks are full of connections with the Roman occupation of Britain in the 1st to 3rd centuries, and uses waymarked routes to travel along Hadrian's Wall , past forts and signalling posts plus walking along the line of a key Roman Road.
